Calling all tennis enthusiasts!

MUTC warmly invites you to participate in the upcoming Melbourne University Tennis Open (Singles). From elite athletes to predominately Pimm’s consumers, we have something on offer for everyone!

5&6th April – Round matches
12th April – Quarter Finals
13th April – Finals + BBQ

The Preliminary Rounds consist of three 6 game set, round robin matches. The top player from each round robin group will go through to the quarterfinals. This way you are guaranteed at least 3 matchesQ

The Quarterfinal: Knockout match of First to 8 with a super-tiebreaker played at 8-8

The Semi-final and Final will both be a best of 3 sets with a super-tiebreaker played at 1 set all.

PRIZES: The winner of both the Men’s and Women’s open will receive $100 in prize money as well as a complementary ticket to attend the MUTC Cocktail night or a social event of their choice.

Runner-up receives a ticket to attend the MUTC cocktail night or a social event of their choice.

So, ladies and gentlemen, it is time for you to channel your inner Serena’s and get hitting! We be putting on a BBQ for finals day, so even if you’re not playing come on down and cheer on your fellow club members.

Entry fee is $20 for all MUTC members and $25 for non-members.
